Jasprit Bumrah has recently achieved significant milestones, solidifying his status as one of India's premier fast bowlers. In the ongoing Test series against Australia, he surpassed Kapil Dev's record to become the most successful Indian bowler on Australian soil, now holding 53 wickets.

In the current Test series, Bumrah has been a standout performer for India, taking 18 wickets at an impressive average of 11.72. This contrasts sharply with the rest of India's seamers, who have collectively taken 19 wickets at an average of 36.63. 

Despite the heavy workload, Bumrah has expressed his commitment to leading and mentoring the Indian bowling attack during this transitional phase. He emphasized the importance of mutual support within the team, stating that pointing fingers is not productive.
