Allu Arjun's Capture: Telangana CM Reddy Guarantees No Obstruction In the event that

The arrest of popular Telugu film actor Allu Arjun in connection with the tragic stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2 has sparked significant public and media attention. The incident, which occurred on December 4, 2024, at Sandhya Theatre, resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to her child. In response, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has made it clear that there will be no political interference in the legal proceedings.

Chief Minister Reddy took to social media to stress that "the law will take care of itself," adding that "all are equal before the law". His statement appears to be a bid to reinforce public confidence in the impartiality of the legal process, especially amid growing public scrutiny and media frenzy. This approach underscores the state's commitment to upholding the rule of law regardless of an individual's status or celebrity.

Allu Arjun's arrest came after police sought 14 days judicial custody. He was brought before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad following a medical examination at Gandhi Hospital. His legal team, led by Advocate Niranjan Reddy, has moved the Telangana High Court to quash the FIR filed against him, arguing that the actor was not responsible for the tragic events. Documents have surfaced showing that police permission was sought in advance for the event, and the venue had requested additional police deployment, raising questions about the extent of Arjun's accountability.

Public reactions to the arrest have been mixed. While some blame security lapses at the theatre, others believe it is unfair to hold the actor solely responsible. Prominent figures like actor Varun Dhawan and politician Raja Singh have come out in support of Arjun, stressing that one individual cannot be blamed for a crowd control failure.

As the case unfolds, the focus remains on the legal arguments presented by Arjun's defence and the state's response to the charges. CM Reddy’s declaration of non-interference reflects a broader political stance of non-involvement in judicial matters. For fans and the Telugu film industry, the case is not just about legal accountability but also about how celebrities are treated under the law.
